AmaWaterways today announced the debut of its 2017/18 Africa Brochure, which features a new ‘Wildlife & the Falls’ itinerary, giving guests the opportunity to experience Johannesburg, a Chobe River safari in Botswana, Victoria Falls and game drives in Greater Kruger National Park.
The new 12-night itinerary will begin in Johannesburg at the luxurious Fairlawns Boutique Hotel in a Grand Chateau Suite. The final week will include a guided tour of Victoria Falls National Park, a tour of Nelson Mandela landmarks, a stay at Tintswalo Safari Lodge (pictured left) and daily morning, afternoon and evening game drives through Greater Kruger National Park.
“We’re very excited to introduce a brand new itinerary as part of our exotics collection in Africa, onboard the beautiful, elegant, modern Zambezi Queen,” said Kristin Karst, executive vice president and co-owner of AmaWaterways. “It’s fascinating to sail down the Chobe River and observe prides of lions, hyenas, cheetahs and hippos in their natural environment. The Wildlife & the Falls journey will give our guests a once in a lifetime opportunity to see some of Africa’s most treasured wonders.”
