Yes, gratuities are included for onboard services as well as ashore during excursion, covering local guides and coach drivers.

Fourteen countries can be visited: France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria.

Seven rivers are included: the Rhône, Rhine, Moselle, Main, Danube, Scheldt and Maas (Dutch & Belgian Waterways).

There will be unique experiences in turnaround ports where the ship is docked overnight. These include: the choice to visit Haarlem and the Hague, as well as Delft and Gouda or the Aalsmeer Flower Auction in Amsterdam; the choice of a city tour in Luxembourg with a wine tasting or a Battle of the Bulge tour in Belgium; and the choice between a visit to the Opera House or a Jewish Heritage tour while the ship is docked in Budapest. There are also several unique experiences in ports to further give you a taste of the local culture, such as guided tour of the Rijksmuseum or Jewish History Tour in Amsterdam, a Kölsch beer tasting in Cologne, a walking tour of Koblenz, and a wine tasting at Schloss Johannisberg while the ship is docked in Rüdesheim. Guests may reserve a 3-night pre-river cruise land package in the French Riviera (Nice and Monaco). Post-cruise, they may choose a 4-night land package in Transylvania or a 3-night land package in Istanbul, Turkey. Land packages are optional and come at an additional cost, which includes stays at 4- and 5-star hotels, daily breakfast at the hotel, city tours, convenient transfers and the services of a professionally trained Cruise Manager.

The crew will remain onboard their assigned ships; guests will meet a new crew when they transfer to their next ship.

Yes, 5% Early Booking Rewards is applicable to both FIT and Groups; applies to all categories for this journey and must be reserved by June 30, 2021.

10% cruise savings can be applied to the cruise added pre- or post-Seven River Journey; cannot be applied to Seven River Journey booking

Three award-winning ships are part of this journey: AmaKristina, AmaCerto and AmaMagna.

Checked luggage will be handled and seamlessly transferred to the next ship by AmaWaterways' crew.

There are two seamless transfers to accommodate our three award-winning ships. The first transfer will be a bus ride from Lyon, France to Basel, Switzerland. The second and final transfer will also be by bus, from Würzbug, Germany to Vilshofen, Germany, where you will board the AmaMagna.

We are expecting to welcome up to 144 guests for the complete Seven River Journey.
