“"A trip to Egypt had been on our bucket list forever and we finally bit the bullet and booked with AMA Waterways for mid-November 2024. We are so glad we did; it was an awesome experience that was almost overwhelming with so much to see and experience. “We are on our way home from our spectacular trip to Jordan and Egypt. AMA just hit it out of the park. In addition to stunning Petra, the Dead Sea, and other interesting stops, AMA does a jeep tour and Bedouin dinner in Wadi Rum that other cruise lines don’t do. It was great fun! In Egypt, AMA was the first cruise line to gain access to the new Grand Egyptian Museum which is amazing. Also AMA does 7 days on the Nile vs 4 days provided by other cruise lines. Last, AMA is the only cruise line that features a tour and lunch at the gorgeous Abdeen Palace. The tour directors and Egyptologists were excellent. The new AMALilia is gorgeous.
