Morning markets alive with color, monks in bright orange robes passing ancient temples, children waving from riverbanks — the Mekong carries you straight into the sights and sounds of Vietnam and Cambodia.

Frequently Asked Questions

Debuting in 2026, AmaMaya will bring guests closer to the heart of Southeast Asia along the Mekong River. Outfitted and designed with local artistry, rich woodwork, and regional décor, the ship blends cultural immersion with AmaWaterways’ signature comfort. Guests can enjoy the Saigon Lounge’s panoramic views, relax by the Sun Deck pool, and participate in wellness and mindfulness activities led by an onboard Wellness Host. With spacious twin-balcony staterooms, regionally inspired cuisine, and warm, personal service, AmaMaya offers a graceful new way to experience Vietnam and Cambodia.

AmaMaya will feature two dining venues: the Main Restaurant, offering elegant cuisine with both international and local influences, and The Chef’s Table, a specialty restaurant serving an intimate multi-course tasting menu. Menus will highlight Southeast Asian flavors and fresh ingredients, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary needs happily accommodated.

Yes. AmaMaya will have a fitness room, a Sun Deck pool, and three massage rooms. A dedicated Wellness Host will lead fitness and mindfulness activities throughout the cruise, helping guests balance relaxation and rejuvenation.

Your cruise will include all meals, beer and wine with lunch and dinner, a daily Sip & Sail cocktail hour, Wi-Fi, and guided excursions in each port. Premium beverages, gratuities, and optional tours may be additional, but most of what you need for a seamless journey will be included on AmaMaya.

AmaMaya will sail the Mekong River through Vietnam and Cambodia, offering a rich blend of culture, cuisine, and landscapes along one of Asia’s most storied waterways.

Yes. Every stateroom on AmaMaya will have individually controlled air conditioning to ensure your comfort in the tropical climate.

Yes. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available in your room and in all public areas on AmaMaya, making it easy to stay connected, share photos, or check in with loved ones during your journey.

On rare occasions, water levels can affect river cruising. If this happens, AmaMaya’s team arranges alternatives such as sister ships, overland transfers, or adjusted schedules, always prioritizing comfort and continuity for guests.

AmaMaya does not have an elevator, and moving between decks requires using the stairs. The ship offers wide public areas and select staterooms may be better suited for guests with mobility needs. Our crew is available to assist on board and during shore excursions.
