AMAWATERWAYS CELEBRATES INAUGURAL “TASTE OF BORDEAUX” VOYAGE ABOARD AMADOLCE

Calabasas, CA - (Mar. 29, 2016) - AmaWaterways today celebrated the expansion of its river cruise experiences in France with the debut of its first-ever “Taste of Bordeaux” sailing. The launch of AmaWaterways’ new 7-night round-trip Bordeaux sailings aboard AmaDolce underscore the company’s continued confidence in France as one of Europe’s most enjoyable river cruise vacation destinations.

AmaWaterways’ “Taste of Bordeaux” itinerary offers a relaxing, memorable 7-night experience along the Garonne and Dordogne rivers. Travelers booking this unforgettable journey through France’s legendary wine region have the opportunity to visit famous châteaux and vineyards, with stops at Cadillac’s Roquetaillaide Castle, a Grand Cru Classé wine tasting in Pauillac, an excursion at Château de Montaigne in Libourne and more. Optional pre- and/or post-cruise land extensions are available with panoramic city tours in Paris and additional château visits and wine tastings in the Loire Valley. Ten of AmaWaterways’ 24 “Taste of Bordeaux” sailings in 2016 will be special wine-themed voyages, boasting an even more immersive experience led by some of the world’s top wine experts.

AmaDolce features an array of AmaWaterways’ signature design features and amenities, including French balconies, spacious marble-appointed bathrooms, a fitness room with sauna, walking track, hair and nail services, and nightly entertainment in the Main Lounge. Staterooms are equipped with Entertainment on Demand systems, giving travelers complimentary internet access, the latest movies, music libraries and more.
