Sail Through Europe’s Heart on the Danube

The Danube isn’t just a river, it’s Europe’s thread, connecting capitals, castles, music, and traditions across ten countries. Each day reveals a new piece of the continent’s story.

Frequently Asked Questions

At 72 feet, AmaMagna is twice the width of traditional European river ships, which means more space to stretch out, spacious rooms ranging from 355 to 710 square feet — including larger suites with full balconies — along with four unique dining venues and additional social spaces like the Sun Deck pool and whirlpool, Zen Wellness Studio, and inviting lounges. It’s the only ship of its kind on the Danube, offering both comfort and variety without losing the warm, personal atmosphere AmaWaterways is known for.

There are four included restaurants, each with its own style. The Main Restaurant offers elegant fine dining, while The Chef’s Table creates a more intimate evening with a multi-course tasting menu prepared in an open kitchen. Jimmy’s is lively and communal with family-style dishes, and Al Fresco pairs fresh, vegetable-forward cuisine with panoramic river views. No matter where you dine, the atmosphere is welcoming, and our team happily accommodates vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary preferences on AmaMagna.

AmaMagna offers 8 different categories across its 98 rooms and suites. All accommodations include in-room temperature control, spacious bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, and a desk and chair. Suites also feature private balconies. Suite sizes range from 355 sq ft up to 710 sq ft—six Grand Suites at about 474 sq ft, and the Owner’s Suite at 710 sq ft.

Yes. AmaMagna’s Zen Wellness Studio is one of the largest on the rivers, offering space for group classes led by a professionally trained Wellness Host, a refreshing juice bar, and two massage treatment rooms. You’ll also find a Sun Deck pool and whirlpool with river views, plus a full-size pickleball court for guests who want to stay active outdoors.

Absolutely. Select staterooms on AmaMagna can be connected by request, and there are triple and quadruple occupancy options available. Between shared dining venues, lounges, and the Sun Deck, the ship offers plenty of inviting spaces to gather while still allowing each guest the comfort of their own room.

Yes. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available in your room and in all public areas on AmaMagna, making it easy to stay connected, share photos, or check in with loved ones during your journey.

The atmosphere on AmaMagna is relaxed and comfortable. During the day, casual attire is perfect for both on board and on shore. In the evenings, many guests choose smart-casual outfits, and a jacket for men is welcome but not required.

Your cruise includes all meals, beer and wine with lunch and dinner, a daily Sip & Sail cocktail hour, excursions in every port, and Wi-Fi throughout the ship. Premium beverages, gratuities, and optional tours may be additional, but most of what you need to enjoy your journey on AmaMagna is already taken care of.

AmaMagna sails exclusively on the Danube River. Its unique size and design make it perfectly suited for this iconic waterway, giving you more space on board while exploring destinations from Germany to Hungary.

While rare, water levels can occasionally affect river cruising. If they do, AmaMagna’s team works behind the scenes to adjust plans. This could mean using sister ships, arranging overland transfers, or modifying schedules, so your journey continues as smoothly and comfortably as possible.

AmaMagna features an elevator* and wide public areas to make moving around easier. Some staterooms are specially designed for guests with mobility needs, and the crew is always available to offer assistance both on board and during shore excursions, ensuring you feel comfortable and supported throughout your trip.

Elevator reaches Violin, Cello, and Piano Deck. Does not reach Sun Deck.
