All rates are per person in USD, cruise-only, include port fees, and are based on double occupancy in an entry-level stateroom unless otherwise noted. Offers apply to select sailings and new bookings only. Unless a reduced single supplement is specifically stated, solo travelers in double-occupancy staterooms must pay the full single supplement before receiving any discounts. Ask about Solo Traveler promotions. Offers are not combinable with other promotions or discounts, are capacity-controlled, subject to availability, and may change or end without notice. Tour Porto’s historic quarter, including the Cathedral and São Bento Railway Station, and enjoy a tasting of Portugal’s famed port. Hike through the old harbor and medieval streets, then visit Guimarães and Quinta de Sezim for a winery tour and terrace tasting.


Visit the charming village of Entre­-os-­Rios, aptly named for its location at the confluence of the Tâmega and Douro rivers. Experience an authentic slice of Douro River life with a traditional “home-cooked” meal at a local quinta, accompanied by a tasting of the region’s renowned wines.


Witness the Baroque splendor of Mateus Palace and Gardens, admiring its old-world furnishings, distinctive paintings, and intricately carved wooden ceilings. Explore the palace’s magnificent gardens, celebrated as some of the most beautiful in Portugal, and learn the story behind the famed Mateus Rosé. 


Venture to the town of Lamego to visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remedies or climb the 686-step Holy Staircase adorned with white and blue tiles on a guided hike. Both excursions conclude with a tasting of local specialties, including Bôlas de Lamego, Presunto, and Espumante.

Take a leisurely walk to the charming Pinhão Railway Station, famed for its 25 blue-tiled panels depicting scenes from the Douro region. Continue to Quinta da Roêda, a historic estate in the heart of the Douro Valley known for its terraced vineyards. Enjoy a scenic drive up to the quinta, followed by a wine tasting and a traditional family-style lunch featuring regional delicacies.


Venture to Castelo Rodrigo, the “White Village,” known for its almond trees and stunning views that stretch as far as Spain. Explore the medieval streets on a guided walking tour, admiring 16th‑century facades and Manueline windows, or opt for a more active hike to the village. Conclude with a tasting of local specialties, including regional cheeses, bread, almonds, and wines from the area.
