As an alternative to flying to your chosen destination, you can now travel by rail** to join your European River Cruise, enjoying the beautiful landscapes pass by as you travel at first through the English countryside, and then into Europe.
No Fly River Cruising
*Rail services include private return transfers between rail station and ship. When you travel by rail you will need to ensure you can manage your luggage throughout the entire journey from home to your final overseas train station. You will also need to be comfortable changing platforms and even train stations on several of our departures.
Air Travel
When you reserve a river cruise vacation through AmaWaterways, we like to take care of you throughout your entire journey and encourage you to reserve your flights through us as well. We offer excellent fares on high-quality airlines from most major gateways and the friendly members of our dedicated team are always just one call away to assist you or your travel advisor should any unexpected circumstances occur.

Fares are per person based on double occupancy of the lead Category stateroom, unless otherwise stated. Rail is available on selected European sailings only. Rail travel includes overseas station to ship/ship to station transfers and where an intra-city station transfer is required, private transfers will also be included in the fare. Rail is not included from any other gateways than those stated. Rail schedules are fully at the discretion of AmaWaterways and will be confirmed once rail schedules become available. Cancellations are subject to full loss of deposit (£270 per person & any additional rail supplements) once rail has been confirmed. Journeys with multiple forms of transport (Rail and Flights) are available. Please ask for more details. Solo guests must pay an additional supplement before receiving any savings.
