Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in the City of Light

Check into your hotel and let Paris reveal itself at your own rhythm. Wander tree-lined boulevards, discover hidden courtyards, or simply soak in the energy of a city that has inspired artists and dreamers for centuries. Tomorrow, your journey westward to Brittany begins.

Day 2

Gothic Splendor on the Road to Brittany

Depart Paris and journey west toward Dinard, pausing in Chartres to witness one of France's most breathtaking masterpieces. The Chartres Cathedral rises before you—a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated as the pinnacle of French Gothic art. Step inside to admire its elaborate stonework, luminous stained glass, and the centuries of devotion captured in every arch and column before continuing onward to the Breton coast.

Day 3

Walled Cities and Turquoise Waters

Explore the fortified city of St. Malo, where a storied past of seafaring and piracy echoes through cobbled streets. Gaze out at turquoise waters framed by the castle's imposing towers, the Fort National—partially designed by legendary military architect Vauban—and the cathedral of Saint-Vincent. Continue to Dinard, where Belle Époque villas overlook sandy beaches, then discover Dinan, one of Brittany's most enchanting and well-preserved towns, alive with art galleries, craft shops, and medieval charm.

Day 4

The Fairytale Isle of Mont St. Michel

Venture to the magical island monastery of Mont St. Michel, a vision that seems plucked from the pages of a storybook. Built by the same Italian architect who designed Fécamp Abbey in Normandy, this UNESCO marvel rises from the bay with breathtaking grace—so enchanting it inspired Disney's Tangled. Walk its ancient ramparts and spiral passages, where stone and sky meet in timeless wonder.

Day 5

Medieval Towers to River Reflections

Check out of your Dinard hotel and journey to Fougères, where a medieval fortress commands the landscape with its 13 formidable towers. After exploring this Breton stronghold, continue to Le Havre, where your ship awaits on the Seine. Board and settle in as your Impressions of the Seine & Paris cruise begins.
