Frequently Asked Questions
Our Renewal of Vows package offers a symbolic vow renewal ceremony led by one of the ship’s officials. Any marriage or commitment ceremony led by a ship’s officer would not be recognized legally. However, if you wish to plan a wedding reception or honeymoon on board, we encourage you to reach out to your travel advisor.
We’re happy to make your celebration feel unique. Simply share any special requests with your travel advisor or our Reservations Team at 0800 005 636. While we’ll do our best to accommodate them, availability may vary by season or itinerary.
We’ll always do our best to honor your preferred time and location. Final arrangements depend on ship operations, safety, and scheduling—for instance, ceremonies can’t be held during lock crossings—but your onboard team will work with you to make it special.
At this time, Renewal of Vows packages are available on our European river ships. However, if you’re sailing elsewhere, we’d still love to help you celebrate. Just reach out to discuss options.

We recommend reserving your package at least 90 days before sailing to ensure availability and allow time for any special arrangements. However, our team will always do their best to accommodate last-minute requests.

AmaWaterways' Vow Renewal Package is available on all Europe sailings; contact us for details. $499 per couple price for AmaWaterways' Vow Renewal Package is in addition to any other deposits for cruise and/or air; and is required on or before the final payment due date on the booking confirmation. Groups consisting of 10 guests (five double occupancy staterooms) or more may qualify for Vow Renewal Package fee waiver; limit one per group; certain conditions may apply.
