Sandringham Game Lodge and Reserve

Where four rivers converge beneath the dramatic silhouette of the Drakensberg Mountains, along the winding bend of the Timbavati River, a once-forgotten wilderness is stirring back to life. Sandringham Private Game Reserve is a land of stories—of survival, resilience, and renewal.

Bordering the renowned Timbavati Game Reserve and Thornybush Game Reserve, Sandringham forms part of a thriving, interconnected ecosystem rich in wildlife and natural beauty.

The lodge is home to two elegant camps: Shisaka Camp, offering luxurious suites, and N’weti Camp, featuring beautifully appointed tented suites. Each camp hosts six exclusive suites, thoughtfully designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. Every suite includes a private plunge pool, air conditioning, and international charging points for modern comfort in the heart of the wild.

A central main lodge connects the two camps, a welcoming space to gather, dine, unwind, and prepare for unforgettable safari experiences.

Testimonials

Paris & Normandy

“My favorite tour this week was going to Giverny to see Monet's Gardens, and when we got there we had time just to stroll around the gardens and really take it in at our own pace. We had time to really take in the whole garden and the atmosphere, and you really saw what Monet would have seen when he was painting. ”

Paris & Normandy

“Traveling with three generations can be challenging, but this river cruise was our most pleasant experience to date. My octogenarian parents were delighted by the gentle walker tours enabling them to take their time exploring quaint Honfleur and Monet's home and gardens -- every bit as beautiful as the painter's canvases. My 14-year-old son craved adventure and was mesmerized by the chalk cliffs of Les Andelys and the dungeons of Château Gaillard, the former stronghold of Richard the Lionheart. ”
