Frequently Asked Questions

AmaDolce sails through France’s Bordeaux region with itineraries that celebrate this renowned wine country. With just 144 guests, the ship feels intimate and inviting. Guests can relax in well-appointed staterooms and suites, many of which include a French balcony, and savor regionally inspired dining in the ships’ two restaurants, and gather with fellow guests in inviting public spaces such as the Main Lounge. The ship also has a Sun Deck with whirlpool and walking track. Wellness amenities include a fitness room, massage services, and salon. Evenings bring an eclectic schedule of entertainment, from folkloric performances and local quartets to Parisian classics and modern piano favorites.

AmaDolce has two dining venues: the Main Restaurant, where menus highlight both international favorites and French regional cuisine, and The Chef’s Table, which offers a multi-course tasting menu in an intimate setting. Between meals, guests can also enjoy tapas and light bites in the Main Lounge. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary needs are happily accommodated.

AmaDolce has 72 staterooms and suites across seven categories, including a single option. All have climate control, flat-screen TVs, spacious bathrooms, and a desk and chair. Many staterooms feature French balconies — floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to river views — while larger suites offer more space and added amenities for extra comfort. All are elegantly appointed and designed for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Yes. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available in your room and in all public areas, making it easy to stay connected, share photos, or check in with loved ones during your journey.

On rare occasions, water levels can affect river cruising. If this happens, AmaWaterways arranges alternatives such as sister ships, overland transfers, or adjusted schedules, always prioritizing comfort and continuity for guests.

Your cruise includes all meals, beer and wine with lunch and dinner, a daily Sip & Sail cocktail hour, Wi-Fi, and shore excursions in every port. Premium beverages, gratuities, and optional tours may be additional, but most of what you need for a seamless journey is already included.

AmaDolce sails the Garonne and Dordogne rivers as well as the Gironde estuary in the Bordeaux region, giving guests a front-row seat to France’s renowned wine country and its historic towns and villages.

AmaDolce features an elevator* and wide public areas to make moving around easier. Some staterooms are specially designed for guests with mobility needs, and the crew is always available to offer assistance both on board and during shore excursions, ensuring you feel comfortable and supported throughout your trip.

Elevator reaches Violin and Cello Deck. Does not reach Sun or Piano Deck.
