Itinerary
Arrive in Lima
In the evening, arrive in Lima, where you'll be welcomed at the airport and transferred to The Westin Lima Hotel & Convention Center. The rest of the evening is at leisure.
Lima, Cusco and the Sacred Valley
In the morning, a specialist guides you through the origins and varieties of Peruvian cacao at El Cacaotal. Then explore Barranco's Main Plaza, Bridge of Sighs and art galleries, followed by lunch at La Perlita. In the afternoon, fly to Cusco and transfer to your resort in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu Aboard Inca Rail
In the morning, tour Ollantaytambo Fortress, then board Inca Rail First Class for gourmet cuisine and live entertainment on the way to Machu Picchu. On arrival, enjoy a private, expert-led tour of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. In the evening, return by train with dinner on board, followed by a private transfer to your Sacred Valley hotel.
Chinchero Textiles and the Temple of the Sun
In the morning, travel through the Andean highlands toward Cusco, stopping in Chinchero to visit the Centro de Textiles Tradicionales de Cusco. Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch in a scenic setting along the way. In the afternoon, take a local-led walking tour of Cusco's historic center, including Koricancha, the Plaza de Armas and Cusco Cathedral.
Cusco to Lima
In the morning, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Lima. In the afternoon, visit Museo Larco in Pueblo Libre and its collection of pre-Columbian art and artifacts, followed by lunch at Café del Museo.
Depart Lima
In the morning, after breakfast, transfer to Lima International Airport for your flight home.
